Here are some more. We ran across these critters while we were heading up to Cook City.

I shot this out of the sunroof of the truck. This little black bear was about 6 feet away from me, and seemed completely unconcerned with any puny humans!

Wyoming has some of the coolest rock/cliff formations...look kinda like something out of a Lord of the Rings movie, but better!

the clearest waters I've ever seen are in the Rockies

turbulent western skies...some of the biggest skies I've ever seen

Sunlight Basin...near Cody

Excellent pictures. Why'd you take the picture out the sunroof? Why not step out and get a good shot?

A little story. One time I was on a two track road up in the mountains, the wife was along. We were following another pickup truck by about 100 ft. All of a sudden he stopped so I did too. I figured I'd give him room to back up, maybe he found something he didn't want to tackle. Then I got to looking and there was a big bull moose standing about 10 feet in front of his truck stairing at him. I told the wife, "Damn, I hope he doesn't blow the horn." About that time, he laid on the horn. That moose trashed the front of the pickup truck. I had to tow him back out to the road. Wish I had a camera that day. haha

You're welcome Emeraldsky! Your picture isn't showing up for some reason. Is this just my computer, or can anyone else see it?

Here are a few I took on my vacations in Wyoming. These were taken in various parts of the state.

Thanks for letting me know. I tried to repost it, but I don't think you can post the same picture twice. Can anyone else see it? It's a picture of a great blue heron flying over the lake at Dalby Park...

No I can't see the picture either. Go ahead and give it another shot, you wouldn't be posting twice because the first one didn't come through. If the second one does, I'll delete the first one for you.
