When it comes to government censorship and collusion with Big Tech this is the account to follow, lots of videos there.
"Every Sunday I do Office Hours for X subscribers, & thx to the new video feature, they’re now video spaces. This week, the first question was what’s the US Blob backstory of the current fight between X and Brazil. Here was my answer:"
You probably have no idea of the "modus operandi" of this criminal organization in Brazil.
I will try to give an hypothetical example of something involving American references to help you understand what really is going on in X/Twitter.
The official X account of the Official Website of the State of Texas is @texagov
Imagine that a criminal organization wanting to subvert the Constitution of United States creates a fake X account @officialtexasgov copying the visual identity of the real official account @texasgov and starts to pretend it's the official account. It starts to use that fake account to make posts with misleading information in order to manipulate parts of the public opinion, with the goal of spreading the chaos and advancing their agenda of subverting the Constitution of United States. Just imagine that fake account posting false information that the government of Texas is recruting an army to declare secession. Yeah, just like the movie "Civil War" in the movie thaters right now (starring Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, by the way).
That is exactly the kind of thing that this criminal organization in Brazil does all the time, just change the Texas government reference for Brazilian institutions. Now, I don't know the laws of the United States very well, but in Brazilian laws that's surely a crime. Blocking those accounts has nothing to do with "censorship", much to the contrary, it's about protecting democracy against criminal activity that wants to bring democracy to an end and reinstate real censorship in Brazil, the way we sadly had between 1964-1984.

This happens almost daily in the America.
If Brazil wants these accounts blocked, they should block them within their country or remove access to twitter if they aren't getting what they want.
The self-proclaimed "hero of free speech" visited China over the weekend, had a meeting with premier Li Qiang, and didn't say a single word about the overwhelming censorship in that country, where X / Twitter is banned.
