Everyone can do something. My wife is terrible at reading. She's not low IQ though. She's good at sewing clothes. She does very well. It's why many dry cleaners are run by first gen people.
One of my good friends basically failed out of high school. (Later got his GED). He rounded up some of his low prospect friends from the literal trailer park and they started out as a crew for networking when the internet was coming around, and now they clean restaurant vents. Does pretty well too.
Got more attention than smarts? Ok, someone needs to paint all of the highway lines periodically. Think that doesn't pay?
I don't have the dexterity or skill for the first one, the network for the second, and my ADHD would go crazy for the third....but all three do something really smart. They don't pretend they're smart when it comes to other things they don't do and they get help.
Smart and Successful aren't necessarily aligned at all monetarily. The joke on my wife's side of the family is there's no such thing as an unemployed person. Not smart, can't read or write in English, not beautiful, not talented....you can still wax bottoms at the spa. Tips are decent. Only difference in holes there vs the office is there's more honesty at the spa. Maids do well also. Overnight jan-san at companies...practically made for people with low IQ....the last thing you'd want is a clever and curious overnight janitor.
There's a wild delta between the worker and owner of the trade though.
