IONA University. How's the area surrounding the main campus currently, for students to walk to restaurants or to dorms, etc?
I hope others can chime in w/ more personal observations, but it is on the border between the urban part of New Rochelle and the suburban part of New Rochelle.
All I can say I would use normal caution at night but it is by no means a bad neighborhood, by the definition of most.

That was was observation in 2024 - a full decade ago - when my son looked at it.
