No posting of copyright images and graphics, even if the copyright holder gives permission. The only exception is if you personally own the copyright. In that case, you must state that you hold the copyright...every time you post a copyrighted image or graphic.
City-Data realizes that this will be a major inconvenience as Weather and Climate is a very intensely graphic discipline. The work-around is to provide a brief synopsis and a hyperlink to the image or graphic.
Images and graphics from government sources are not normally copyrighted and may be posted without restriction but,
MUST include a link to the source. It's not just a City-Data rule, it is the law.
