Power to you, but I can't imagine anyone making commercially viable/valuable videos with a freeware tool. There is more to a quality video than just assembling clips in certain order, which is about all the little tools can do.
Even the $50-100 tier has some worthy tools for simple video work with control of quality issues and the like - I suggest you aim a little higher lest you sell nothing or (worse) ruin your potential market.
I think Content Samurai is a very good software to make promotional videos and sell those vids to businesses. It is really easy and fast as long as you have the script ready.
