Make your own soft tofu by adding lemon juice or vinegar to soy milk.
And eat it with honey syrup or brown sugar as a dessert.

I can eat chicken or just about any meat without putting anything on it....and it tastes really good to me.

Tofu, shiver, it needs a lot of help to be even semi-palatable.

How healthy, I will never find out.

The reality is that tofu is a processed product. It's not bad for you unless you eat too much but there are some tofus that are really fermented has a lot of probiotics. Or eat natto.

There's an Indonesian vegetable stew that Mom used to make, Sayur Lodeh, and an Indonesian blanched/cold vegetable salad she'd make as well, Gado Gado - both featuring tofu cubes. It's a spicy coconut broth in the stew and a spicy peanut sauce for the salad. Of course, Mom's were better, but I might be a little biased.

Those look good, OutdoorLover! Yum.

I made some tofu the other night, but much simpler. Sauteed in olive oil with red bell pepper and onion and tossed in chili sauce.

Will use the rest to make a tofu scramble today with spinach and asparagus (IOW whatever leftover vegets are in the fridge).

If the texture bothers you, get extra firm, press the water out, freeze it, then season it, coat with nutritional yeast, and air fry. It becomes much less intimidating once you get used to it, and yes, it is in fact, quite good for you. Organic varieties are easy to find too, if that's of concern.

In recent years, I have come to love natto as well.

Tofu is so versatile. I like to fry mine and add some soy sauce.

Tofu is Soybeans right?

According to wiki, Soybeans is packed with nutrients.

But then I keep noticing the word Soy is often associated with something bad, like soy protein, or fast food has a lot of "soy filler", or pigs are fed a diet of soy.
