They are always on about building more houses in the UK, so you can't be short of work, eh? I hope the 'cowboy' part of your name doesn't suggest that you work for cowboy builders!

Just realised the clocks go back soon. That's the end of British Summer Time then! Nights will be drawing in soon.

Yes it's awful dark when you leave for work but it's better for the kids so I won't complain ( for once )

Good, I won't be seeing you on that Cowboy Builders programme on Channel 5 (there's some right nightmares on there).

Have to go around the house changing all my bloody clocks. I wish they wouldn't bother with this changing the clocks backwards and forwards, tbh. Just pick a time and stick to it!

I just hope it doesn't affect my central heating. I have this 'Nest' thing and it all got messed up before and my heating wouldn't come on.

Also, I hope my iPhone changes ok, as Apple have messed up before too. (Btw, that 'middle finger' thing is on the iOS update 9.1 - very handy!).

Anyway, tired now so I'll say goodnight. Nice chatting.

Anyone else, please feel free to use this thread. Go and have a moan about British life!

It's for the kids so they don't have to go to school in pitch black

I know, a lot of people think the same. They did a survey a while ago and most people were against changing the clocks biannually:
