Ive been Receiving Unemployment Benefits from NJ but i just moved to Colorado this week. I’ve been doing research but I’m unclear on what I need to do in order to continue receiving benefits in Colorado while I look for new employment. I don’t want to run into any issue down the line so if anyone knows the proper steps I need to take I’d appreciate the help! Also, I used Indeed when searching for work back in NJ. Any recommendations for job searching portholes, specifically in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
You continue claiming with NJ. You must do an address change with NJ. You continue seeking employment in Colorado based on what NJ requires. If you were required to register with a workforce reemployment agency in NJ, you must find Colorado's equivalent and register with them.
