Hi everyone, we are moving to tyler within the next month from PA.
My husband already has a job offer in Tyler. We are hoping to rent for about a year
So if anyone could give us some recommendations for apartments in south Tyler,
It would be greatly appreciated. We do have 2 little ones ages 2 & 4 (turning 5 in august).
Since she will be starting school in august, we are hoping to get her enrolled at Jack
if we are able to find an apartment within the school zone. Thank you in advance!!

Default Good Luck

Hi:

Call the Tyler Apartment Association at 903.594.8864

That would be your very first step, unless you accidentally found an apartment yourself. Several months ago this association told me there was one month with only 8 apartments available in all of Tyler. Much better now since apartment owners could evict tenants for the failure of paying rent. I looked up my apartment Grande Hill Estates, no apartments out of 248 units becoming available in the present, not even 60 days out into the future. Tenants are supposed to give 60 days' notice, I think there is a waitlist how long of a waitlist?

Best of luck, anything else? You post directly to me. Many have done this over the last 12 years. If I don't have the answer maybe I could direct you to someone who can help. Oh, the apartments last month were down to 96% occupied. In September apartment owners were given government permission to evict people because of failure to pay rent.

Default This upscale, higher end apartment is two-three blocks from Jack

Most of the other apartments are a mile or two or more away.

Best of Luck

Oh, this is one of the most expensive apartment complexes in Tyler. But for a year to have all of these amenities, knowing you will not need to rent too long, maybe it's not so bad.
