Star Trek Discovery is to end after Season 5 in 2024.

That's all folks. The last season is coming up.

Given the quality of season 4 aka worst Star Trek season ever. I agree. Have the quality of 5 not improved substantially and they had plan on a further season I wouldn't support the series.

I watched the first episode. Not bad, Burnham didn't cry once.

Actually it looks like they might have finally gotten it "right", just in time for the final season.

I gave up on both of them after a few stupid episodes. But I will see how this season starts out.

Episode 1 was spectacular and 2 continued on with the drama. I don't think this will be season 4-like.

Agreed. I have enjoyed STRANGE NEW WORLDS, despite the occasional misstep. But I never watched more than two episodes of DISCOVERY because it was so bad.
