The Devon Energy Center could be surpassed in height by a building planned for the Bricktown area that would be the tallest building in the United States. This building would be 1,907 feet tall, marking the year Oklahoma became a state.

Now, this latest one is going to get interesting. The Legends Tower. We'll find out soon if officials decide to dive into this.

This proposal is sort of far - reaching, I would say.

Definitely ambitious, and honestly if ever built, would become sort of a tourist spectacle, immediately.

And, would there even be enough demand for people to move into a super tall skyscraper in a low density, mid-sized city such as Oklahoma City, on the plains in the middle of America? When the next door neighbor to the tower is a parking lot and a storage unit?

Wondering who their target audience is.

There will also be hotel space, along with an observation deck open to the public on the top floor. People were skeptical that Oklahoma City could support the Devon Energy Center before it was built, but it has become an iconic landmark for the city. Includes a restaurant on the top two floors open to the public.

Yeah, this building might open the same year Tulsa hosts the summer Olympic games.
