If you live in Green Valley, AZ, these sights are normal. It may happen a little more often in my neighborhood because all lots are 2 to 4 acres which leaves a lot of habitat for the wild creatures that call southeastern Arizona home. If you look at the dates I included, just living a normal daily life, I see javelina every few days without going to look for them. It is not just javelina, it is also mule deer, racoons, rabbits, fox, coyote, bobcat, hawks and all kinds of other birds, ground squirrels, snakes, lizards and even a coatimundi and mountain lion! I have not seen those last two animals personally, but I have neighbors who have seen them recently! I hope you enjoy watching the video!!!

The opening procession of single-file javelinas gives a good look at their namesake collars (Collared Pecary). I remember we had to walk single-file at school, and the javelinas do it just in their nature. Pretty neat.

Really enjoyed watching them strolling around the pathways at Heinz's and drinking from the fountain. Very well-mannered and leisurely. The rock design is nice. Thank you!

Thanks for watching and your comment! What I showed in this video is simply the way life is in the neighborhood where I live. All the encounters I showed here are in a 1 block area except the one in Desert Hills II, and that one was only a couple of miles south as the crow flies. The javelina look so nice in their white collars. I think the single file thing comes from staying on trails through the brush in the washes where you just cannot walk 2 or 3 abreast. Yes, other than when they are tipping over trash cans, the javelina are generally well-mannered and peaceful. I will pass you message about the rock design to Heinz, I know he will appreciate it!
