One of the great mysteries of the Northwest. Fascinating story, only because his body has never been found. But some of the stolen money did wash up along the Columbia. Very bizzarre! Is he alive or dead? One of the greatest "unsolved mysteries" of all time!

Because of the dialect in the post I need to know if you are real. Are you a spoof to start and thread or real. My posting name says it all...if you are real then I need desperately to speak with you or have some kind of private email from you. Is there some way that the forum can help us to make a contact without it being made public? I need for you to tell only me where that spot was....wondering if it was where my husband took me to many yrs ago. I am dead serious.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but I didn't think D.B.Cooper even had a parachute. I thought that was the mystery about it.

(Opps, correction to self ) D.B.Cooper DID have a parachute on his Oregon jump. Actually, he tried the whole routine again about a year later, same kind of suit, same kind of airplane, but used another name and asked for more money which was given to him but he was caught this time before he hit the ground in Nevada and was sent to a Nevada Prison where he was beaten to death by another prisoner. Just goes to show, you can't hide anything in Nevada.)

You can click on his name. It will show an area that says send a direct message to. Click that and send your message.

Yes I like to know where this parachute was. I wouldn't mind going on a treasure hunt in the woods. Anyone up for a road trip?

LOL Waterlily. Y'know, there's a D.B.Cooper Party held every year in the little town of Arial, Washington, (supposedly where he hit) the Saturday after Thanksgiving where they have a look-alike contest and some of the fans dress in suits wearing a backpack and no shoes, lol. Too bad that's the weekend when I put up our Christmas Tree. lol.

Default Info on D.B. Cooper

I have been interested in D.B. for many years. I'm wondering if it was possible he never jumped, or jumped at a different point during the flight? The FBI believe he jumped at 8:13p.m. because the aft stairway showed a bump at this point. The aft door remained open dragging the runway during the landing. Did the FBI look into other areas during the flight he could have jumped? Remember no evidence except the $5,800.00 on the Columbia River was found, no body, no chute and no money was ever found. In 36 years something should have turned up if in fact he jumped at the area reported. It is possible he was smart enough to throw off the FBI and dump some of the cash over this area. Why would he need 4 chutes for himself unless he was in the state of mind of throwing them off? I believe he lived and if so he pulled off the greatest hiest of all time. If you have any info hit me back, I would like to know more!
