I have found Winco in the Tri-City areas, specifically south Richland and Kennewick, have about the same meat and produce quality as Safeway.

Just hoping they don't close the north Richland Safeway, it's very conveniently located for me. Although with WFH I probably go to Grandview more often.

I don’t think that will happen because if they did there wouldn’t be a major grocery in North Richland. The closest then would be Fred Meyer or Winco both about 5 miles away. Actually the Queensgate Walmart might be a bit closer. Just avoid it on Saturday’s…a madhouse.

Agreed I wouldn’t trust their meat or produce.

Safeway and Fred’s has superior food quality vs. Winco and Walmart

You folks are not realizing that food products such as meat and chicken are regulated with frequent inspections. The food quality is virtually the same no matter what store you buy it.
