So far in 2022:

January -4 below average
February +2 above average
March +2 above average
Interesting. Seattle has been below average since December.

Looks like below normal for April. Looking at temps not rising above 60 for the next two weeks and some areas below freezing. Normal Tricities April high is mid 60’s.

First April measurable snow in Tri cities since records started in 1940! Very unusual.

Well, an interesting April so far. Very below average, but not just Tricities. This has been a regional phenomenon. Very little snow here compared to Spokane. I remember seeing a prediction of this last fall. Interesting how good these forecasts are. I remember a similar year back around ‘93, but these are rare.

On the mornings of April 11 and 14, I woke up to significant snow fall and maybe an inch of snow on the ground. I'm out West of Prosser BTW. The snow didn't stick around long, well above freezing temperatures even in early morning. But every day that week, I saw some snow. Friday driving into Richland, it snowed pretty hard in Benton City - no buildup that time.

A bit delayed, but average high in Tri cities in April was 58.6, about 8 degrees below average mainly due to unusual cold the week of April 10th. Outside of a couple winter months this is the coldest I have seen here since moving back in 2015.

Very cold in Seattle, it feels like March actually. Not a single 70F day in May. Only one year (1962) in history never reached 70 in May.

I’ve got my deck wide open here in Tricities with a slight breeze and 77 degrees. If this was only the way it is in July/August! But no, it isn’t.

Wow, one of the coldest late Springs I can recall. Looks like some nice warming in June. Atleast my ac bill will be almost zero this month!
