I wish a new era were brought in but yet again we have to wait for some 'unknown date' for the Crosstown to go live

Doesn't look good. Makes you wonder how long the line 2 extension and the Ontario line will take. SMH

Well one line's issues isn't necessarily indicative of another. I know the Line 1 ext to Vaughan was about a year beyond schedule which isn't too egregious. Crosstown is it's own beast but yeah - it is getting extremely frustrating and I feel bad mostly for all the residents and businesses impacted by this with no end in sight

I hope for the sake of people in Scarborough that the extension is finished on time. Toronto is down a subway line and will be for a while. They said seven years but it will probably be more like ten.

I walked along Eglinton Ave where the underground section is going into. Being a pedestrian on such a busy thoroughway is very inconvenient right now and there is so much noise from the construction everywhere. As for Line 2's extension, it will take a gazillion dollars and 1-2 decades to complete only to find out the wrong metal or concrete was used. It'll be just like our Green Line Extension here. Whoops, I shouldn't have said that .
