Hi. Looking at internet providers. How is century link? Comcast’s customer service is so poor we are turned off by it. Any opinions? Thanks

Comcast does have an annoying monopoly and bad customer service, but service wise it’s reliable and fast.

I will tell you that we are getting a new internet provider called Metronet. They are installing city-wide fiber optic and have rates that beat Comcast’s.

You should be able to get service through metronet next year after they finish running the lines around the city.

Centurylink is the absolute worst provider you can get. Comcast is like a beautiful dream by comparison. Before I was forced to use Centurylink, I hated Comcast with a passion.

Does anyone have Century Link Internet and have your billing on Autopay? If so how long have you paid your bill that way, and do you have problems with it. I have had Century Link for almost 3 years, but I didn't sign up for Autopay until Sep 2022. My bill says I am on Autopay but the payment has yet to come out. Every month I have had to call them and tell them this, and then I pay it over the phone. I got so fed up the last 2 months I would tell them I only want the supervisor. Now it's the end of January and it was suppose to come out 2 days ago and its the same song and dance again. I call them up and we again verify the acct, then they tell me to make the payment over the phone. This is ridiculous. They seem like a very unprofessional company. There have been late charges every month over this, although they have not charged that because the problem is on their end. I imagine I should just cancel the Autopay and pay my bill myself. I have all my bills on autopay and Century Link, is the only company I have this problem with.
