Hello,

We are looking for an ABA Therapist and Speech Therapist for my son who is 3 years and 6 months old. This is going to be paid privately by us and no insurance dependency. As there is long waitlist for therapists we opted to hire private. Our home location is in Malvern, PA. Please share your information if interested we planning to hire as soon as possible and can match the pay to what regular companies do.

I don't known anyone in your area, but you can see about finding someone here:

https://www.bacb.com/

Put in your zip code and search and you should get someone in your area who is certified.

You might try this BCBA

Thank you i will look up the website to find someone.

We tried that BCBA provided she is knowledgeable but she is not providing therapy directly but sending an associate.

Please feel free to share if you find more Thanks again

Many BCBAs supervise the staff rather than provide therapy directly. That is how ABA works in general.

As a BCBA, every day is different. Sometimes I am training and supervising therapists and other days I am implementing direct therapy, writing reports, reviewing data, and updating programs. Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts are often the clinicians who work with your child.

Btw, my grandson started his ABA at 20 months and he is now 16 and a sophomore in a mainstream high school. This video is from his first 5 years or so.

It is not for everyone. You need to find what is best for your own child.
I suggest asking about things on the babycenter autism board.

Some children do special classes or even special schools, others do mainstream placements. My grandson started out at home and then in an ABA center before he went to mainstream kindergarten at 6 (not 5).

There is a lady with an older son on that site who lives in Erie, PA and she might be able to help you.
