well, you have it all wrong...

The modern age of the Flat Earth Society dates back to the early 1800s,
when it was founded by Samuel Birley Rowbotham, an English inventor.

in the USA, we call it the Apartment Earth Society.

Is there any reason to think he was serious? I doubt there is.

It might be possible to argue the earth is actually shaped like an apartment. These days, almost anything goes.

LOL at this topic. Yeah, you're right, I think you'll get more comments by opening up a Reddit thread but I'm not sure what subgroup you would post it under.

What started as a troll topic, others have joined in. It's very possible that all these people are not educated enough and believe everything is a conspiracy and that the Earth is flat. But what happens when these same people look through a telescope and see the Moon, or Saturn with the rings, etc? What if you show them a map of the observable Universe with all the different galaxy clusters?

I'm okay with flat-earthers - I just lump them into the bin of "stuff we don't understand about the Universe." Such diverse life with our complicated brains here on Earth and this is only 1 small part of the Universe - what the hell else is out there? It's so intriguing!
