Beaufort County Sub (Charleston, Sumter, Florence: homes, to move, population)

What’s the rationale around Beaufort county (South Carolina fastest county) not having its own sub?

I don't work here, so this is pure conjecture, but I'd guess it was due to population numbers don't support it.

Many post mention Beaufort in the Charleston thread. Beaufort county is exploding with growth, There are many many new communities going up. I am sure a Beaufort County sub forum would be welcomed.

Typically you'd make a subforum when there is a large amount of discussion in the main forum that is irrelevant to most people in that main forum.


Quickly scanning the post headlines I see only one post on the South Carolina forum or Charleston subforum that is Beaufort-specific (this one) . So making their own subforum would seem premature.

Sun City in Bluffton has over 10k homes alone, not to mention the tons of other communities going up.....built the sub forum, and they will come.

Florence and Sumter get significantly more posts. Neither of them have their own.
