I used to create a specific folder on Google Drive, to share files with public, anyone with the link can access. Most of time, it is used when I post a question on forum, then provide Google Drive file/folder link with more details.
Issue: I also open quite some files/folders shared by others, and I just noticed that I can see their email addresses. Therefore, when I share my files/folders, my email is also exposed to public. I don't think that email was exposed before, maybe Google changed it at some point.
I don't feel comfortable to expose my address(don't want to create another email for sharing files only). Is there a way to hide email address while sharing files with public (anyone with the link can access)? It does not have to be Google Drive? Maybe One Drive or something else?
This is the only thing that came to my mind too. Haven't used groups a lot, but I think it might work.
