Interesting situation. For me, it will no longer be safe to ride Fiesta Island or Mission Bay. Normally on the 4th I just avoid it for a few days but now it's permanent like Slab City. Plus, how can they determine if the RV in front of someone's house has someone living in it. So, street parking for RVs looks like it's back.

It's going to be interesting what the Marinas will look like come fishing season.

Ridiculous. Hopefully, they at least keep them off of residential streets.

^^ The parking lot at the rest area on The 5 North of Oceanside, between here and LA, it's always full at night but funny enough hardly anyone is ever using the restroom...

I mean... I can tell. If at Fiesta Island or another public space, the RV's usually look like Walter White and Jesse's Meth-Mobile... but I'm not sure that's a good gauge... legally speaking.

Here in "County land", even if nice RV one can tell if lights are on at night OR if pop outs are engaged. I see alot more of this out here, which is fine with me so long as it's on private property. My neighbor recently rented his travel trailer set permanently on the side of the house for $800 a month, who says RV's don't pay off.

"No longer safe"???

A bit overdramatic, arent we? You think these people are just jumping out attacking people, for amusement?
They want to park their homes and be left alone.
And with the current administration letting 10 million new residents in in the last 3 years, mostly from countries where having 5 kids is typical, who knows which one of you will be next.

Not really. Ever ride a bike on Fiesta lately? It's not made for people to live on. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com...-fiesta-island

But I agree with the open border mess. Many of the new entries will be homeless too.

What a perfect solution to the high cost of housing in San Diego.

Buy an RV and just park it on a street near the beach.

And I thought all the extreme lefties were all here in the Bay Area.

During Covid, I think a bunch of them moved here with remote jobs. Lovely.
