Technically it's north chesterfield but it's very close to richmond, in fact some internet forms tell me it is a richmond address and some tell me it is North Chesterfield so I don't yet know if I dial 911 who is going to show up at my door or who I am paying my taxes to but I'll find out soon enough. It has to be somewhere on that pile of documents I'm going to sign on tuesday.

Anyhoo, the house is a brick cape built in 1938, in very good condition, recently renovated, very cute. We are loading the truck on Wednesday and it will be delivered in 4-6 business days (that's the problem with ABF UPACK, I discovered, after it was too late to book anyone else) so I will be in my empty house as of Thursday night.

I'm going to fill my days waiting for the truck by shopping for deck furniture (which I do not have), waiting for the electric company and the cable guy, and going to the gym and church. My 22 year old daughter will join me when the truck is delivered to unpack and organize. I joined 14 Meetup groups so I will have something to do with what is left of my summer and my first day of work is August 7.

After 6 months of planning I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
