Our annual insurance premiums have gone up as well. We now pay about $22K/year for a couple houses, three cars and an umbrella.

Geigo keeps raising my car insurance despite no accidents, car is 16 years old and I only drive 2700 miles per year. I pay 100/month and in July when my premium is due it will probably go up again. I have shopped around and no one is cheaper.

Try Amica. I left Geico & went to Amica for my car and got the same coverage for 60% less.

I've stayed away from companies that spend what looks like billions with those stupid TV commercials. Your premiums pay for those.

USAA treated us right during our two claims - SO stepped on a kitchen counter and cracked the granite and total roof replacement. No fuss, no hassle.
They wanted proof that my garage queen gets a year to the gallon and has full coverage. Fine with me. I love her dearly and she is on the fast track to special plates.
You hate insurance until you need it.
