Im sure he will play. I just dont know how many touches he will get compared to what he normally has gotten this season. But yeah he was been huge in fantasy points.
i got Owen Daniels and he's my starting TE. Is he out for the season? i am hearing rumors but Yahoo hasnt said anything.
They are not saying because they do not know. If indeed he does have a torn ACL, you can bet he will be done for the season. Time to hit the waiver wire and pick up another TE.
My question is, slaton going to start next game? Will moats start to touch the ball more?
I would expect to see both of them. Indy's D is a bit soft against the run (17th in the league) and that's probably the team's biggest weakness. I would expect the Texans to use their backs to pound away, take screens and such. Slaton will get his share of touches unless he starts fumbling early again.
He will probably get a few balls thrown his way but he is not a playmaker on the level of Daniels. No TDs since 2007, and he's only got two for his career.
One guy who I think Schaub will be looking for more often with Daniels gone is Kevin Walter, but from a fantasy standpoint I don't think I'd pick him up as a WR rather than a TE. Conventional wisdom would have Andre Johnson getting even more action his way but that means defenses will be concentrating even more on shutting him down with Daniels out of the mix.
I picked up Jacoby instead. I got OD for $1 in my draft
