Uhm, that so-called "not very good defense" allowed only 1 touchdown the entire preseason.

Sure, it's "only" just preseason, but...................

I confess that I am rooting for the Falcons this year. The Falcons ownership and fans didn't deserve the screwing over they got from their coach and quarterback.

One positive thing Atlanta did do was to sign Jason Elam, long time Denver Bronco placekicker. He won 4 games for Denver last year on game ending kicks. Shanahan, what were you thinking??

Default Atlanta Falcons

How about that RB with 135 yards in the first half? And the Falc's have some other offense going too! Maybe they're going in the right direction this year.

Michael Turner (FA signed from San Diego) and Jerious Norwood are the perfect thunder & lighning duo. Add Ryan's great arm, a surprisingly fairly decent defense and..................the sky's the limit!

Go Falcons! (currently up 31-14 halfway through the 3rd quarter.)

I was about to start Turner on my fantasy team but instead started McGahee, suffice to say i'll be kicking myself this week.
