I had Cox for 20+ years and went with Sparklight up here in 2020. I liked Cox customer service but for reliability, Sparklight has been FARRRRRRRR superior.

You may want to check again. I too own my own modem, so price went to $70 a month.
300 mbs is the lowest tier they offer on their website now. My brother in law here in Prescott still has the 100 mbs plan for $35 per month AFAIK, but he called Sparklight and did some wrangling for that.

I thought about calling when they bumped me up without asking, but my wife who streams 4K content almost every evening says she likes it better at 300, so there is that.

I forget the name of the company before they called it Sparklight but the service was great, we had them for about 10 years before we moved recently.
The only problem I ever had was with their modems I rented. One stike of lighting and I had to take it in to exchance it.
I bought my own and never had another problem.

We're paying $65 for their legacy plan. I just did a speed test and it came in at 125mbps.

CableOne. It sucked if you were using a cableone.net email account when they killed those.

Just did a speed text on my 200mb plan and got 343 down and 20 up. So maybe I'll be forced to pay more in the near future.
