A videographer knifed near the scene of a protest outside Portland’s federal courthouse said Wednesday he was nearly killed over his right-wing politics and activism.

“I was stabbed for being a conservative journalist,” said Andrew Duncomb, 25, who films demonstrations and other political events under the moniker “Black Rebel.”

Duncomb, who is Black and a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he had traveled last Friday to Portland from his home in Northern California to document the nightly unrest outside the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse and county Justice Center.

The group of moms that’s acted as a buffer for protesters in Portland is being accused of “anti-blackness” by another advocacy group in the city.

Don’t Shoot PDX posted a lengthy mssage on Instagram urging people to stop supporting Portland Wall of Moms, the crew of mothers in yellow shirts who’ve stood between protesters and federal agents in recent weeks.

“The lies are finally clear and we are sad but ultimately not surprised that anti-Blackness showed it’s ugly face with Wall of Moms,” the black-led Don’t Shoot PDX wrote in the post on Wednesday.

The nonprofit accuses Wall of Moms — which announced Friday that its white members were stepping down as administrators — of filing for business registrations with the state behind the backs of the newly installed black leadership.

There are also “safety concerns” that came to light within the past 24 hours, Don’t Shoot PDX alleged. ...

I guess the Wall of Moms is one of those "white supremacist" infiltrator groups we hear so much about.

Several bystanders intervened immediately after the stabbing of Drew Duncomb, according to Portland Police. The bystanders held down Blake D. Hampe until police arrived, Portland Police said in a statement.

You didn't read much of what you posted? The don't shoot people want the protests to focus on blm, and seem to think wom are focused on removing the feds. Not even close to your inflammatory language.

Most politically divisive governments end up in deadlock where nothing gets done. Portland leans very left, the whole area seems to be on the same page politically, yet Portland stands out as having the longest running protest/riot in the country. And over what again? Theoretically it should be a liberal utopia, yet it looks like complete chaos. What’s going on there?
You can’t possibly be that upset that federal officers are protecting a federal building.

I don’t think you got the point at all. There’s apparently no unity even among protestors. It’s not “us vs them” it’s a complete free for all. Even the mayor got both gassed by feds and booed by protestors. It’s called chaos.
