Ugh. I wonder how much impact this will have on Texas beaches, which are not pristine to begin with, but are horrible when there's been an oil spill.

The last thing Galveston (really the entire Gulf Coast) needs is another oil spill. Very sad for the wildlife. Don't think there’s a conspiracy behind this though.
