ShepsMom,
Those are some great shots!
of the two you listed as not knowing the name, the first is a Black-necked stilt, and the second is a Double-crested Cormorant.
I liked the shots of the sand hill crane! where was it photographed?
^^^ Nice shot of the bald eagle. There's an osprey nest just down the block from us. I need to get some shots -- problem is, I'm usually on my bike when I'm going past and it's hard to break a good rhythm (the nest is at the end of a downhill after a 300-foot climb, so it's hard to stop!).
Real nice photos everyone. ILNC,I really like the first one. Is the last photo a Canadian Jay? Fuzz those are nice, and CBTB-I have a nesting pair of eagles across the river but haven't been able to get close enough to film them.
Those are all beautiful!...and you have quite the 'life-list' going.
I just started recording my 'life-list' as of last summer.
I don't go anywhere without my camera & binocs!

Thanks you, the last one is a Blue Jay, don't know if he's Canadian or American

Yeah I kind of got carried away and posted more than I had originally planed. I’ve been enthusiastic about photographing birds and other wildlife since I retired, so far over 2000 photos and around 125 different bird species. I too never leave home without camera and binoclurs.
