I am the co-owner of a house that we are trying to get rid of. It is not insured. Up until this time, we've been here to coordinate, oversee and control any people who come onto the property. However now that we are ready to vacate it, have it empty, and are ready to turn it over to a realtor - we need to have some sort of liability coverage. How would one go about doing this for a temporary basis or for this unique situation?
Don’t use homeowners though Use landlord insurance
I agree as if it's empty it'll be cheaper to insure as landlord since you didn't have you cover replacement costs of stuff.
