I understand this thread is mostly beach, but I'm a huge fan of old and/or interesting architecture - and Pensacola has no shortage of amazing buildings. Attached is a picture I took yesterday of a house in the East Hill area whilst out doing a computer repair.

Gulf Islands National Seashore - Perdido Key
Just some of my favorite beach pics from our visit this past June. God I love this beach. I was surprised that there were not more people here. We were staying close by and had visited the Visitor Center in Perdido Key and they had suggested we check it out (as it was one of the places to check off on their Exploration Passport which if you visited 4 places on the list, they give you a FREE T-shirt). What a new tourist/visitor to that area might not know is, that if you pay the $15 fee to drive that shoreline, it gives you a pass for 7 days to come and go as much as you want in that time period. What a gorgeous coastline. Not crowded and a great place to find shells. The sand is like sugar and sometimes squeaks when you walk on it, and the best part is... even when it's hot, the sand does not burn your feet (I grew up in Northern CA and lived in Hawaii for a little over 20 years and can tell you this from experience).
