Let's have fun with . . .

Today's Question(s):

"I have learned not to underestimate the weather ___."

"The trouble with a glass dinner table is you can't keep it clean ___."

"I looked for -ward to retirement being fun but found boredom instead."

Today's Foodie Question(s):
There seems to be a trend on cooking websites about baking a meal on sheet pans or cookie sheets.
https://www.allrecipes.com/recipes/2...t-pan-dinners/
https://www.delish.com/cooking/g4267/sheet-pan-dinners/

Have you ever baked vegetables, meats or other foods on a flat pan that aren't usually cooked that way?
Yes, I’ve roasted vegetables on a flat pan.

Or does it sound appealing? It was fine.

Just to:
In some countries and cultures houses have names. What should be your home's name? My Safe Place.

Today's Factoid:
A law passed in Germany in the 1300s required drinks to be covered, hence the hinged lid on bier/beer steins.
(I would ask Almrausch if this is true, but pretty sure she wasn't around then. (Hi, Alm. )

Happy Thursday, everyone!
Thank you!

Have you ever baked vegetables, meats or other foods on a flat pan that aren't usually cooked that way? I do it all the time. We prefer roasted vegetables anyway, and it’s easy to do the meat on the pan at the same time.

Or does it sound appealing? Totally.

Just to:
In some countries and cultures houses have names. What should be your home's name? Toasty? I hate the brown roof on my brick house and I think it looks like a giant piece of toast.
