From what I understand, the First National Bank Building (First National Center) used to have an observation deck on the 32nd floor open to the public from when the building opened in 1931 until possibly 1971, when the taller Liberty Tower was constructed. This is not to be confused with the Beacon Club that opened on the 31st floor of the First National Center in 1941 and layer expanded to include the top three floors of the building. I have not been able to find out when the observation deck on the 32nd floor closed to the public or any pictures of the deck or the view from there when it was open to the public. So, does anyone here know when the 32nd floor observation deck of the First National Center was closed to the public and does anyone have any pictures if the observation deck or the view from there when it was open to the public.
