Hi All -

What are the best BYOB restaurants in the Honolulu area? We are partial to Chinese, Thai and Greek and Italian food.

Used to check out Little Village noodle house, Phuket Thai and The fat Greek which have all closed, presumably because of pandemic? We typically like to go to ethnic restaurants because its easy to do sharing items. Decent food and ambiance is a must. Thanks in advance.

I don't often do this, but this is probably something best that you'll find on Yelp or a similar site.

We do a lot of group gatherings at Olay's in Chinatown. Wonderful food, friendly and helpful staff. No corkage but make sure to tip the staff heavy as they always bring extra glasses, provide wine openers and offer to open, etc.

I also recommend Yelp. Olay’s is listed and well reviewed

To add to the above, I will say that Olay's generally has very good food, so being BYOB is a plus. It's a Thai-Laotian place. We've been there a few times and the place has never disappointed. I especially like the backyard court/garden setting for seating.
