The same people who HATE police are helping line their pockets with cash. I love it! Keep protesting! The cop pensions thank you

"The NYPD has spent $53 million on overtime pay to respond to thousands of protests across New York City since the Hamas attacks against Israel on Oct. 7, police officials said on Thursday."

In a country that portrays to be the land of the free, we have insane amount of laws, prisons and prisoners. So let’s put that whole freedom bull**** myth to sleep.

Protesting is absolutely pointless and only serves your own ego and contributes to police overtime looks like.

Protesting is pointless, in this case, because the "paid protestors" are whining about something that is occurring in another part of the world, therefore not within the US's direct control...

Allowing protests to go on is a good way to keep the illusion of freedom flowing.

Trust me a lot of cops don't really want to be out dealing with protests even if they are making OT.

Why not? The one's protesting are mostly rainbow flag types who bark more than they bite. Stand around and collect 2X pay sounds like a winning game.

53m is a tiny drop in a bucket compared to the reckless spending of the MTA or NYC govt on illegal immigrants
