Good Evening. Is it me or is New York City becoming dangerous with rising crime rates?. In the last few years I feel that New York City is changing for the worse and not for the better especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. Too many mentally unstable people and aggressive homeless on the subway trains and stations too. And now with the recent migrant crisis it’s gotten more out of control.

These sort of posts are getting to be annoying.

depends where you go …areas i frequent, no.

we just tend to hear about things faster now where a lot just you to silently happen before social media.

we always had dangerous areas in this city with certain areas worse then others

Overall, 1,000%. Pre COVID you didn’t have violent homeless running around all across the city.

I stay in my part of southern Brooklyn and only go into the city like twice a week and when I do go into the city I take the bus. So if you ask me then not much has changed if I was to compare it to pre pandemic times.

I am in my own neighborhood, but I probably wouldn't be in say, like, Sunset Park.
