RIP To this poor cop who was trying to police the city to keep it just a bit safer for a city full of mostly ungrateful and cop hating people.

Arrested in April of 2023, less than a year ago, for illegal gun possession

Twenty-one previous arrests
Released from prison in 2021
Released from prison in 2014

We don't have an epidemic of gun violence, we have a epidemic of politicians, DAs, and judges that don't take illegal gun possession seriously.

New York was able to bring down violence (gun or otherwise) without federal actions before and can do it again; it just takes will.

NYC would be a much, much safer place if carrying was legalized for law abiding residents. It'd be safer for cops and it'd be safer for residents. Criminals run around with guns in this city without an issue.

I implore...no, I beg....any middle class white man/woman worth their salt and with a college degree, DO NOT TAKE A JOB WITH THE NYPD.

It's high time these hoods police themselves, which they are starting to do. You see less and less white cops but there needs to be NONE. You've made your sacrifice already. Let others step up. If you wanna be a cop so bad, move to PA/FL/wherever.

Didn't there used to be a law in NYC that if you got caught carrying a gun without a permit, you had to do five years automatically?
