Is Helena Moreno the next mayor of New Orleans? She appears to be the one to take the city to the next level.

Default Helena For Mayor!

I believe she would be best for the city, however the chance of her being elected is slim. I cite when Latoya was running for mayor (first term) she was running against Desirèe Mary Charbonnet in 2017. Desirèe had all the qualifications, education, standing, and background to handle the cities woes. However, she was not able to connect with the urban black population that Latoya could. Our current mayor, is not even a native New Orleanian, Desirèe was from the Gentilly area. That being aside, Desirèe was most likely not black enough, even though she is a lighter skin black, whose family has New Orleans roots well into the 1790s. So the city gets what they voted for....

Insiders seem to think the next mayoral race will be Moreno vs Oliver Thomas, and I'm inclined to think Thomas would win.
