It’s official. No matter how much the mayor’s office and the corrupt NOPD try to fudge the numbers they are the most dangerous place in the USA.

Down to around 900 cops in N.O. Can't find anyone who wants the job. Minneapolis has the same shortage problem. Starbucks is closing a dozen stores, too much crime.

Lol, like that's going to happen. Evil people will continue doing evil things unless persuaded to do otherwise by strict tough on crime leaders. Giuliani did it for NYC. It can be done anywhere. But the left only wants to baby them. It's how they roll. Every blue city has this issue. That is their common thread.

How about fixing the problem instead of berating those who speak out against the corruption. You are helping to create a cesspool by your lack of boundaries, and inaction. Just let it rot I suppose is your answer.

Walgreens pharmacy has closed stores in California. I don't know about other states. Anyone hear anything?

These trends are hard to reverse once they take hold. Immediate action is needed or the trends will become irreversible.

Well while defunding the police and making stupid rules of engagement have in my mind been a major reason for the crazy increase in crime IMO it can't account for all of it. Without a doubt s of the murders have to do with the absolutely crazy stupid way sum people drive in this city. Road rage hell yeah people just snap. Left turn out of the right lane across oncoming traffic, check. Passing on the right side on the shoulder with the left lane clear, check. Sitting at a light looking at your damn phone after the light turns green, check. People wake da puck up drive like a normal person if at all possible. Saw all this on the way to work yesterday come on people quit driving so stupid, just saying...

There's many stupid comments in this thread. Too many to quote. Crime is the result of poverty. Not road rage or lack of police. Read a book.
