Hello -

I have a relative with a child who I strongly believe has ARFID (Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder.) The child is five years old and has the stature of a small and skinny three year old and just finds eating "boring". Her parents are really struggling to get her to eat more foods for eat more, period.

I am wondering if anyone knows of any specialists in the pediatric field or the psychological field who can help treat this in Montana.

Or, if you have any experience with this, did you take them out of state to get help?

This child may be on the autism spectrum as well and/or has ADHD issues.

Thank you!
