Not Montana, but small towns in Eastern Idaho or Idaho Falls? Close enough to Targhee for skiiing, Jackson Hole and the Tetons/Yellowstone, and Challis area for mountains. If those towns are too small then Boise or surrounding areas there.

LOL. Good friend of mine moved from Montrose to Driggs, and it's every bit expensive, if not more so. He had a very lucrative job offer that made it possible. ~$900K for a (very basic) newer place on a few acres.

The entire West has been discovered and is in the process of being exploited/speculated into oblivion by the wealth locusts. Working & middle class being wiped out in the process.

Unless you're in the desolate parts of these states on the plains or willing to go small, isolated, and pretty just about anything in the 5k and up range has been discovered. In Montana you might get away with Butte or Great Falls, but I could be way off there. Even Billings is a destination these days. Not a bash on Billings, but it's not as scenic as Bozeman, Missoula, or Kalispell.

Great term, and you are correct. I'm witnessing the effects of their rampage firsthand.

There goes the neighborhood...

I'm not surprised.

Good to know. I've never visited that state. For someone moving there from Colorado, sounds like a preliminary trip to the DMV for changing plates over to Wyoming would be in order.

Maybe. Also better lie about where you're from and spew out conservative rhetoric.

"Colorado; Wyoming's Mexico"

Is a double insult with conceit, very simplistic and inaccurate and imo says plenty negative about the person choosing to broadcast it.

There may be less offensive ways to express underlying opinions but I guess I'll give credit for saying or implying a lot in a few words.

If it is about state hispanic population, that says a lot about the broadcaster. Colorado 22% statewide but not everywhere. 11% in Wyoming.

Problem levels with gangs and crime do vary on average by ethnicity and poverty but the problem is with the criminal set, not entire communities.

Fwiw California and Texas are 40% hispanic. Florida 27%.

% criminals by state? Not immediately aware but it is too many everywhere but also a statistical minority everywhere I'd say, even if higher than the official numbers. A count of criminals should include white collar criminals.

FWIW, Wyoming is the greatest state in the US, but tends to be more of a state for those that prefer to be by themselves. Basically what the state is all about, IMO. Its not for those who are insecure and need to be continuously coddled! Hell there's plenty of that in 48 other states! Also your damn right about many wanting to keep Wyoming conservative! Again there are 48 states where you can wallow in all the liberalism you can take with as many friends as you feel you need to coddle you! YOU DONT MOVE TO WYOMING FOR THE PEOPLE.

Only reason I'm replying on this thread is because the OP was on the Ohio thread thinking about moving there and the title caught my eye!
