What would a daily commute be like from Superior mt to Missoula? Are there a lot of others doing this?

58 miles on a well-maintained freeway. Slightly uphill from 2762' to 3209'. You'll be spending 10+ hours in your car every week. That's a whole extra work day. If you have the option of staying home during blizzards I'd think it would be manageable, for a while. I used to commute 1 1/2 hour one way three times a week, in a place without snow, but with hellish traffic, in SoCal. It was a great job, but after three years I'd had enough.

It is quite likely that you will occasionally find yourself stuck at home or stuck in Missoula during the winter. the money saved by living in Superior will be offset by lost wages, motel bills, meal bills, etc.
There are times here when our 10 mile commute seems terrible, and there were times in Wyoming when my 2 mile commute to the airport seemed impossible.
I would not do a 58 mile commute.

I agree with this. The commuting you can do in Montana the better.
