That wasn't what I meant...but thanks anyways. I'm sure they buyers would have preferred it be cheaper as well.

How about this NC duplex all the way out in Leicester. No condo fee, not sure how that would work between the two owners. And it's kinda weird looking.

They managed to get Unit B sold in October for 550k, but A isn't selling. Just cut the price to 500k.

It's on a busy route and also nextdoor to a tired looking triple decker/multi-family style house with a satellite dish hanging off the side! I wouldn't want that as my view every day either.

It's also across the street from low income public housing projects.

And there's a highway sign right in front of the house.

I didn't even notice those two things...I'm really surprised someone paid $550K for unit B there!

Looked it up and there might be some shenanigans going on with that one... the buyer only put 5% down (mortgage of 526k) then turned around and "sold" the property to himself and his wife for $100. I'd have to think that was done because she couldn't be on the mortgage for some reason.

Which I guess also means that they are underwater already given that the other unit is down to 500k.

Maybe he had good credit and hers was bad (possibly jeopardizing the sale). That's not good, to be ~$26k underwater already!!

When you google the names on the deed, neither of them are slouches. She's a dentist and he's is senior manager in medical tech with 2 advanced degrees.
