Wait, what does having a mexican chain restaurant by the mall have to do with where the Hispanic communities are in Louisville? I'm not as familiar enough with the city to say where the Hispanic communities are, but I can say for certain there isn't a big Hispanic enclave off of the giant monstrosity of a stroad that is Shelbyville Rd haha.

Louisville has a major hispanic community. It has large swaths of Mexican, Guatemalan, and Cuban neighborhoods. It is one of the largest Cuban diasporas in the world!

https://www.cntraveler.com/story/los...les-cuban-side

The largest enclaves are south Louisville, Taylor-Berry, Southside Drive, Buechel, Newburg, and Clarksville, IN along Blackiston Mill and Eastern Blvd. There are tens of thousands of hispanics in the MSA.

NBTW 30,000 Cubans is a WAY underestimated population...several Cuban friends tell me its at least 60,000 and growing.

To put this in perspective, the Cuban population of Louisville alone would be one of the largest cities in the state of KY. Louisville is so poorly understood and gets alot of negative press here and elsewhere. That's unfortunate.

How long have you lived here? Just go south... you'll find them.
