Due to the recent events; my friend lives in LA, and I was curious about the Palestinian community in big N. American cities.

Good food? Lots of Palestinian-American empowerment?

I heard 30,000 Palestinians live in the Greater LA area if you include Orange County, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino; maybe even more, seeing as Palestinians were often not recognized as an ethnicity separate from Arab until recently, and hell, even Arabs were considered White until just this year on the Census, lol.

You have started some rather interesting threads here recently. Asking about "where are there large Palestinian communities? "Where are the Albanian communities?", "Where are the hispanic/Mexican communities in Canada?". Are you like some kind of census worker?

A quick Google search would tell you that per Wikipedia and the Arab American Institute Foundation Census for California there are approximately 15,000 people who are Palestinian and/or of Palestinian descent living in Los Angeles. Are we right to assume your interest is based on the recent demonstrations on college campuses (and elsewhere) about the atrocities the Israeli govt is committing on innocent civilians in Gaza? The majority of those demonstration are NOT Palestinians, but are US citizens.

Sometimes anecdotes from people are more interestingly and tell more than those numbers... also sometimes there's news on TV that haven't gotten caught on the web that have, not necessarily more accurate, but more "interesting" estimates on what estimated populations are of a certain ethnic group. Of course, take it with a grain of salt.

No I'm not a census worker. :doy:

Sounds like a bot wrote this. Punctuation and grammar is all wrong.
