I saw some old posts about Liberty High school but nothing new. I was wondering how many would send their kids to Liberty today. Test scores do not look great (GreatSchools only 2/10). My kids are academically strong and I am wondering if that will be enough pull them through unscathed, or will the general environment (many other kids not interested in studies) pull them down. Does anyone know if there are specific programs that will help overachievers separate themselves?

Find out how many AP courses are offered. Our kids attend Easton, another very large urban high school and they have access to every single AP course you can think of. There are also honors classes. This means my kids are mostly with other academically driven students throughout the day.

Thanks, that is very good to know! I think they have good AP options.
