Does anyone have a good Attorney you've use for an E2 Visa?

Thanks!

IMO, you don’t really need a lawyer: you just need to fit the requirements of the US government for that specific type of visa.

All the lawyers who proclaim themselves “the immigration lawyer” - are what they are - self-proclaimed - they won’t be able to do what you can do yourself if you read all the instructions on the government site.

The lawyer would be filling up the same documents as you must do.

In fact, they would request more documents from you to justify their “work” and to make sure that they are protected from the US government in case you lie.

One thing is extremely important:do not lie on your applications and do not ”fudge” your documents proving that you qualify.

Lying to Federal authorities is a big crime in this country - it may spectacularly backfire when discovered
The foreigners seem to not understand that if you lie on the documents - you could be kicked out or worse:huge fines, jail - heed the warning on the forms.

Just download the application, check the requirements to make sure you qualify, have additional documents ready, translated into English by a certified translator, do the Apostille (google it) if necessary.

Yep, I did it all myself. Imo immigration lawyers are for people going to court. You think you need a lawyer when you’re telling a country to take your money? Maybe if you just cannot be bothered with paperwork… I suppose it’s a lot like divorce… you can do it yourself but sometimes it’s easier to pay someone to file for you…

But I’ve done immigration both ways - brought a US citizen to Australia, and brought myself to USA… It was very straightforward navigating both immigration routes. Both times, the immigration department let you know if you’re missing something and it’s easy to talk to them and know what they need.
