I've been reading over the past few days about the new development of a retail, medical housing mix called Aggie Uptown that will break ground by the end of 2021. In today's paper there was mention that the entire current NMSU golf course will be moved to accommodate this development. The mention didn't make it sound certain that the golf course will actually be relocated and remain a course.
Does anyone have any further information on the way Aggie Uptown will impact the future of the course?

I am very interested in this. Do you have a link? It would make sense with the curb cuts on University on and after the Telshor interchange.
Hi, I just found this which was referenced in the article in the Las Cruces Sun today. If you go to page 4, they seem to make it sound like the golf course will indeed remain, but it appears there will be a total reconfiguration.
Very sad that an institution of higher learning is in the land development business. It may help their immediate problems but does nothing except potentially worsen the major environmental problems we face today and will face long into the future.
